On El Camino Hospital’s MyCare, typically 3-5 days after the blood is drawn. Dr. Dang will review and comment on the lab results typically within 5-7 days after the blood is drawn.

Not routinely. If results are generally normal, we advise you to see us the following year for an annual check up. For abnormal results, Dr. Dang will mention in his comments for you to make an appointment for a follow up visit. For urgent/emergent results, you will be contacted by the office (multiple times) via phone call.

Quest will bill your insurance company directly for the costs of the labs; routine labs are typically paid for by your insurance companies*. If there are any remaining charges to pay for, your insurance company will direct Quest to bill you directly.

*Insurance plans from student health (for students at undergrad or graduate studies with their insurance plan directly from the school and not from parents) may not pay for routine bloodwork.
